The Little Prince

Last weeks episode was titled "The Little Prince". Like most people I assumed it was referring to Aaron. However a lot of people are starting to point to the story "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint ExupĂ©ry. Especially after Darlton mentioned last week that people may want to to read it. It has been known for a while that Darlton have borrowed from a lot of 20th century literature as fodder for LOST. They have openly admitted this and are encouraging people to seek out these books and read them. You can check out the LOST book club here. I haven't read the Little Prince yet but plan to in the next week on vacation, I guess it's quick read. It takes place in a far away land in space. An interesting note, the little prince lives on an asteroid named Besixdouze which we learned in this episode is also the name of Rousseau’s research ship. You can read the Little Prince on line here.

Will Locke be reincarnated?

One of the things LOST geeks are always on the look out for is the anagrams that the LOST writers like to put in the company names that appear in the background of each episodes. Especially since the HOFFS DRAWLER funeral parlor in the season 3 ending was determined to be an anagram for FLASH FORWARD.
Last weeks episode had a huge one. The van that Ben is driving Locke's body around in has the name of a carpet cleaner on it called
Canton-Rainier. This was a fairly easy one, yes, it's an anagram for REINCARNATION.

ABC LOST scene showdown

ABC had a scene showdown going on for the last few months. Basically it was a bracket of memorable LOST scenes that fans could vote on their favorites. This week the champion was announced. The two finalists were Penny and Desmond's phone call and Charlie's death. The winner was Charlie's death. My personal fav was either the phone call or John Locke in the walkabout office.

Been too long

I hope everyone is enjoying season 5. After tonight's episode the season is officially a quarter done.
It's been way too long since my last post. I promise to post more regularly.
